Evolution Childcare day nursery and preschool, formally known as Kids Academy Nursery, was established in England 15 years ago by an experienced management team, dedicated to providing high quality childcare for children in their Early Years.

We are proud to be part of this group and to be the first British Nursery and Pre-School Franchise in Bahrain, catering for children from 4 months to 4 years old. Our branch in Saar opened in April 2015, and Adliya in September 2016.

BBS is an independent, non-profit, co-educational bilingual school from KG-G12. The International French School of Bahrain is a French international school in Busaiteen, Muharraq Governorate, Bahrain. It serves levels maternelle (preschool) through terminale, the final year of lycée (senior high school). It was established in 1976 and has integrated the Mission laïque française (MLF) in 2008. It’s an international school because it welcomes children of more than 50 nationalities. It allows French, English and Arabic languages learning from preschool for all children.

Al Shorooq Preschool provides high-quality early education, and it is the only Montessori preschool in Riffa. They follow the innovative Montessori approach, which has been proven internationally and now is applied in our preschool in both English and Arabic.

The Capital School Bahrain is based on a classic British Primary School set up and operates as such. Offering a class/form structure within key stages of development, a British National Curriculum including Early Years Foundation Stage whilst adhering to the requirements of the Bahrain Ministry of Education guidance on the teaching of Arabic and Islamic classes.

The Children’s Academy Bahrain is an independent school for children with mild to moderate learning difficulties who possess the cognitive skills to benefit from an academic Programs based on the British National Curriculum. It is affiliated to the prestigious Alpha Plus Group who run independent schools in England.

The Children’s Academy caters for pupils between the ages of 4 and 16 years who struggle to achieve expected levels of attainment at school, and for whom differentiation or special pupil grouping in mainstream settings is not enough. Some pupils have specific learning needs associated with dyslexia, dyscalculia or dyspraxia. Some have speech and language delay or low levels of concentration and self-esteem.

Fees
All parents who wish their child to register their child on the school’s waiting list for admission must first return a completed registration form to the school together with a non-refundable application fee of 50 BD.

Children with moderate learning difficulties from all nationalities are eligible for admittance to the school. The criterion for admission is based upon the outcome of an assessment made by an Educational Psychologist. The child’s age is taken into account, as is his or her previous schooling, English language proficiency and cognitive ability/learning potential. All admissions to The Children’s Academy are made on the basis of the school’s ability to meet each child’s needs.

If a place is offered following the child’s assessment, the parent will be required to pay a 500 BD deposit to secure the place. The deposit is refunded when the child leaves the school, subject to the school having been given a full term’s written notice of the child’s withdrawal.

Fees are payable in three equal annual installments and by the first day of each term. A non-refundable development levy of 518 BD per annum, used for capital and curriculum improvements/investments, is also payable at the start of each academic year.
