University of Bahrain is the largest public university in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It is the only national university in the country. With campuses in Sakhir, Isa Town and Manama,

The university offers more than 86 academic programs, including 38 Bachelor programs, 21 Master’s degrees, 5 PhDs and 22 diplomas. Credit hours vary between courses and degree level (126-135 credit hours for bachelor’s degrees, for example). The university admits 6,000 students per annum, 80% of whom start in September. The university’s admission criteria generally requires a high school score of 70%, in addition to other criteria imposed by some colleges

The British University of Bahrain is one of the newest Universities to be established in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Working in partnership with the University of Salford-Manchester, we bring to Bahrain British degrees from one of the UK’s leading universities.

Bahrain students can now commence and study an Undergraduate UK Bachelors degree or Postgraduate UK Masters degree, exclusively on our state-of-the-art University campus, here in Bahrain.
Students also have a unique option to transfer their course studies to the University of Salford, in Manchester, at the start of any of their subsequent academic years.
Finally, your degree and degree certificate will be proudly awarded by the University of Salford, both of which are fully recognised by the Higher Education Council-HEC of Bahrain.
