APG, a private school nestled near the historic Khamis Mosque in Khamis, Bahrain, has been shaping young minds since its establishment in 1996. Founded by Mr. Mohammed Moosa Al A’ali, the school initially welcomed 250 students in grades 1 to 3, with a vision to deliver top-notch education while honoring the rich heritage of its location. Mr. Al A’ali’s ultimate goal is to nurture well-rounded individuals who will contribute not only to Bahrain but also to the global community. APG is proud to be licensed by the Ministry of Education, extending its educational services to both Bahraini and non-Bahraini students.
Today, APG caters to a diverse student body of 1,394 learners, spanning from kindergarten to grade 12. The school follows a comprehensive curriculum that incorporates international programs such as the Cambridge IGCSE for Grades 9 and 10, as well as the renowned International Baccalaureate Diploma Program for Grades 11 and 12. It is mandatory for all graduates to undertake the IB program, which consistently yields exceptional results. APG has consistently outperformed local schools, surpassing national averages, and consistently exceeding the world average, earning the prestigious “Outstanding” rating from the Bahrain Quality Assurance during its most recent evaluation. In 2017, APG proudly became a member of the Council of International Schools, solidifying its commitment to preparing students for success on a global scale. At APG, the learner takes center stage in the education process, and the school is led by the dynamic duo of Ms. Ebtisam Saeed Al-Zeera, the Head of School, and Mr. Al’Aali, the Executive Chairman. The school takes immense pride in its alumni who have garnered prestigious scholarship awards and pursued further education both locally and abroad.
At APG, our mission is to provide students with invaluable opportunities that empower their growth and equip them for the future.
Our vision is to be recognized as an esteemed international institution that prioritizes the development of highly educated individuals grounded in strong moral values, while nurturing global competence.
