The British School of Bahrain (BSB) is unique. It strives to prepare students, aged three to 18, for some of the world’s best universities. Whilst the typically ‘British’ values of integrity, responsibility and resilience are embedded in the school’s ethos, the ‘Bahrain’ part of the name and identity is equally important.

Bahrain has always been ahead of its time in the region. That warm Bahraini welcome and appreciation for diversity and individuality is a spirit that pervades the BSB. Ensconced in magnificent facilities in Hamala, the school caters for more than 70 nationalities with 2,600-plus students.

Student-staff relationships are particularly strong, with teachers taking the time to get to know each individual in their care. As part of the Inspired family of international schools, the BSB is outward looking with a global perspective.

Students are encouraged to have a sense of global responsibility and are active in raising funds for local and international charities. They are proud participants in international MUN (Model United Nations) conferences, World Scholar’s Cup and international sports competitions.
