The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) is a comprehensive, purpose-built, American-model co-educational university located in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Supported by the Elm Fund, AUBH offers a unique and holistic approach to education, encouraging interaction and collaboration among students, faculty, and the professional community.

Situated in Riffa, Bahrain, the modern campus spans 75,000 square meters and is equipped with innovative and high-tech facilities, enhancing the teaching and learning experience. In addition to classrooms, libraries, and labs, the campus features a Sports Center with indoor and outdoor courts and fields, a spacious Student Commons, and an Auditorium for special events.

Comprising a diverse mix of international and local talent, AUBH’s senior team consists of visionary academics and accomplished business professionals. Embracing diversity and multiculturalism, our leadership team is led by President Dr. Bradley J. Cook.

Accreditation

AUBH is proud to be licensed by the Higher Education Council of the Ministry of Education of Bahrain. On March 17, 2023, The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) officially received U.S. accreditation through the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), one of the most renowned accrediting agencies in the United States. This accreditation places AUBH among a select few universities accredited by this prestigious commission in the GCC and MENA region.
